What your purchase includes
The paid Google Play download provides the features included in this app for a single payment, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases: blindfold games against Stockfish at four levels, opening rehearsal and position reconstruction. Depending on the exercise, you can use visible pieces, circles or an empty board. Training works locally. Other Ajedrez de Silicio apps, memberships, lessons and services are not included.
Price, purchase and refunds
Google Play shows the price and applicable taxes before payment and manages downloads through your purchasing account. Reinstallation depends on that account and the availability and compatibility shown by Google Play; it does not restore local progress on its own. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policies and applicable legal rights. You can contact us about problems with the app. These terms do not exclude or limit mandatory consumer rights.
Compatibility and scope
Android 8.0 or later and a compatible Android System WebView, version 109 or later, are required. Actual availability depends on Google Play and the device. Engine calculations can consume battery and performance varies by device. Opening lines are study sequences, not an exhaustive theoretical repertoire. Training does not guarantee a rating gain, an improvement in general memory or a sporting result; it is not a medical tool.
Content and sources
The catalog includes 3,815 lines from lichess-org/chess-openings, with names, ECO codes and moves under CC0. The 60 essential lines are an app selection. Translations and short explanations were written with AI assistance; they are not Lichess annotations and have not had an external teaching review. No online AI is used during training. Bundled licenses identify the sources; corrections can be sent by email.
Data and backups
Progress and games are saved on your device. Use Save backup before moving devices, uninstalling or clearing data, and check that your copy can be restored. We cannot recover information that existed only on a lost device or whose data was erased. This does not exclude liability where required by law. You retain any rights you have in your exported files.
License and free software
You receive a personal-use license to the app under these terms and Google Play’s distribution conditions. The brand, logo, interface and proprietary components belong to Ajedrez de Silicio or their respective owners. Third-party components retain their own licenses, which take precedence for those components. In particular, payment and these terms do not restrict the rights to use, study, modify and redistribute Stockfish under GNU GPL version 3 or later. Its license, complete corresponding source, neural network and build instructions are bundled; you can save the archive from Settings offline at no additional charge.
Minors and fair play
Minors should use the app with guidance from a parent or guardian, who should be involved in purchases and support contacts when required. Follow competition rules concerning chess engines and devices.
Support and changes
Use the email above for support. Describe the issue, app version and device model without passwords or unnecessary information. Updates may fix issues or improve features. Indefinite compatibility with every future system is not promised. Material changes to these terms will be communicated in an updated version, respecting acquired rights and applicable law.
