Ajedrez de Silicio E.I.R.L., Peru, is responsible for this app. For privacy questions or support: gpacheco@ajedrezdesilicio.com. This policy applies to Silicio Chess Scoresheet (com.ajedrezdesilicio.planilla_silicio), called Planilla de Ajedrez de Silicio in Spanish.
Your games stay on your device
The app works without an account. The names you enter, game details, moves, clock times, comments, notes, drafts and preferences are processed and stored locally. Move validation, PGN import, PDF creation and JSON backups run on your device. The app does not send that data to our servers.
No ads or tracking
The app is free and includes no ads, purchases, subscriptions, analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking services or crash reporting services. The optional link to other Ajedrez de Silicio apps opens Google Play or your browser; it does not send your scoresheet.
Files and actions you choose
Only files you select through the Android file picker are read. When saving, you choose the destination. When sharing, you choose the receiving app. Open on board sends that game’s PGN to the Ajedrez de Silicio app with temporary permission to read the file. These transfers happen when you request them. Exported files may contain names and comments you entered: check their contents before sharing.
External apps and services
The receiving app, your document provider, email service, browser, printing service or Google Play applies its own terms and policies. They may need a connection, for example to save to cloud storage you choose or to install Ajedrez de Silicio. We do not control how those services process files you choose to give them.
Retention and deletion
You can delete a game from its library card or from Game options, with confirmation and a temporary Undo option. The app keeps a previous local recovery copy that may temporarily contain a deleted game until the next save. To remove the entire library and that copy, clear the app’s data in Android settings or uninstall it, subject to your device’s system behavior. Archiving a game does not delete it. The app disables automatic Android backup; export a JSON backup to move your library. Exported files and shared copies remain at their destinations until you delete them there. We do not hold a remote copy of your library and cannot recover it or delete it from our server.
Age and support inquiries
The app is intended for ages 13 and up and does not ask for your date of birth. If you email us, we receive the address and content you send to handle your inquiry. Do not attach other people’s data that is not needed. You can use the same contact to request deletion of that correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s operation changes, we will update this policy and its date. You can read this version offline under Help and privacy. The Google Play listing will also link to a public version.
