Terms of Use — Silicio Chess Scoresheet
Updated October 10, 2026
Purpose and access
Silicio Chess Scoresheet, by Ajedrez de Silicio E.I.R.L., is a free app with no ads for chess players who want to record their training games alongside a physical board and, at the same time, keep a digital record to save or share in PGN format. It is intended for ages 13 and up. You do not need an account, purchase or subscription to use its features.
Practice and review
Hints appear after you submit an incorrect entry. The app checks the recorded sequence using standard chess rules; it cannot check that your physical board matches that position. Review your details, moves and documents before using them. The app does not suggest moves while you type and does not replace an arbiter’s decisions.
Use in competitions
For training only. Do not use this app during tournament games. FIDE rules prohibit electronic devices that have not been approved by the arbiter in the playing venue. This app is not an approved electronic scoresheet for competition.
Your content and backups
You retain your rights to the text and data you enter. Use data and files you have the right to use and share. Your library is local: export a JSON backup before uninstalling, clearing data or changing devices. Archiving does not delete a game. PDF is for printing and PGN for exchanging games; a JSON backup also preserves drafts and archived games in your library.
Optional integration with other apps
Open on board requires a compatible version of Ajedrez de Silicio installed on Android. If it is not installed, you can open its Google Play listing or export the PGN. It is not needed to record, validate, import or create PDFs. Other apps’ availability, terms and any price are determined by their own listings. Third-party features may change.
Brand, updates and support
The Ajedrez de Silicio logo, design and software belong to their respective owners. You may print the scoresheet and share the games you create. Third-party components retain their licenses, available under Help and privacy. We may update the app and these terms; the date identifies this version. Nothing in this text limits rights granted to you by applicable rules. Support: gpacheco@ajedrezdesilicio.com. Ajedrez de Silicio E.I.R.L., Peru.
