What your purchase includes
The paid Google Play download provides access to the features included in this app for one payment, without a membership, subscription or in-app purchases. The library, Silicio's own board, study notebook, reviews and Stockfish run on your device. You do not need to pay for an analysis server.
This reader is a separate product. It does not include the other Ajedrez de Silicio, Viaje de Campeones or Reloj de Ajedrez de Silicio apps or their services. It does not include a collection of commercial books. An original user guide is included. Purchasing this product does not include future separate applications or services.
Price, purchasing account and refunds
Google Play shows the price and applicable taxes before you confirm payment. Google Play handles payment and download access through your account under its terms. Restoring a purchase does not restore your local library: that requires your own backup.
Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies and your rights under applicable law. You can also contact us if you have a problem with the app. These terms do not remove or limit your non-waivable statutory rights.
Compatibility and scope
Android 8.0 or later and a compatible, updated Android System WebView (version 125 or later) are required. Actual availability depends on the compatibility Google Play shows for your device. Large files and analysis may require more memory, storage and battery. Performance depends on your device.
The reader opens PDFs and imports PGN games and FEN positions. Positions are entered or reconstructed manually: automatic recognition of diagrams or printed moves (OCR) is not provided. Damaged, protected or oversized files may not open. Stockfish 19 Smallnet is an analysis tool; its evaluations do not guarantee a perfect move or a competitive result.
Your files and backups
You retain your rights to your notes and files. You must have the right to use and share documents you import or export. The app grants no license to third-party books. Respect tournament rules on engine use.
Your library is saved automatically on the device, but is not synchronized with us. Use “Save complete backup” before changing devices, uninstalling or clearing data. Periodically check that you can restore your backups. We cannot recover files that were only stored on a lost device or whose data was erased. This does not exclude our liability where it applies by law.
Free software and ownership
The interface and original materials are provided for your personal use under these terms. Third-party components retain their respective licenses, which prevail for those components. In particular, your rights to use, study, modify and redistribute Stockfish under GNU GPL version 3 are not restricted by these terms or by payment for the app.
Complete notices are available under “Help and legal documents → Component licenses”. The same menu's “Stockfish source code” option exports the corresponding sources, network and build instructions. No account or separate payment is required to obtain this included archive.
Support and changes
We handle functional issues at the email address above. Include the app version, device model and a description, without passwords or third-party books. We do not promise indefinite compatibility with every future system or device. Updates may fix errors or improve features; material changes to these terms will be communicated through an updated version, respecting acquired rights and applicable law.
